Privacy Policy

Zayvo is a fitness and nutrition app. We collect what the app needs to work and to give you accurate numbers — nothing more. We do not sell your data, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and there is no advertising in Zayvo. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app at any time.

We treat health, fitness and location information as sensitive, and handle it accordingly.

• Your email address, and your name if you choose to add one
  To create and secure your account, and to address you in the app.
• Your height, weight, weight history, date of birth and sex
  To calculate your daily calorie and protein targets. These are optional — the app works without them, with fewer personalised numbers.
• Workouts, GPS runs, steps and streaks you record
  To show your training history and progress, and to give the AI coach real numbers to work from instead of guesses.
• The route of a run, recorded as precise GPS locations
  To draw your run trail, measure distance and pace, and let you share a run card if you choose to.
• Photos of food you choose to analyse
  To identify the dish and estimate its nutrition. The photo is stored with the meal log so you can look back at it.
• Meals you log, with their calories and macros
  To track your day against your target.
• Your subscription status
  To unlock Zayvo Pro features. Payment is handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card details.
• Workout and activity data from Apple Health, only if you connect it
  To show Apple Watch and other workouts alongside your Zayvo activity.

All of it is linked to your account, because it only means anything in the context of your account. None of it is used for advertising or for tracking.

Connecting Apple Health is optional and Zayvo works fully without it. Health data read from Apple Health is used only to show you your own activity inside the app, and completed Zayvo runs are written back so your rings close.

Health data is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared for marketing. You can disconnect at any time in the iOS Health app.

Location is recorded only while you have a run in progress, including when the screen is locked, so the trail keeps recording. It stops when you stop the run. Zayvo does not track your location in the background at any other time.

Food photos are sent to OpenAI to identify what is on the plate, and your training and nutrition figures are sent to OpenAI when you message the AI coach, so that it can answer with your real numbers. This is processing on our behalf; your data is not used to train third-party models.

Nutrition values come from a curated food database, not from the model’s imagination — and the app tells you when a value is an estimate rather than a verified figure.

Only the services that make the app run: Supabase (database, authentication and photo storage), Vercel (hosting), OpenAI (food recognition and coaching), Apple (push notifications and payments) and RevenueCat (subscription status). Each receives only what its job requires. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.

Your data stays while your account exists, so your history and trends remain available to you. When you delete your account it is removed — including your logged meals, workouts, runs, weight history and any food photos you uploaded. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

• Delete your account and all its data at any time: Profile → Delete account.
• Deny or revoke camera, photo, location, notification and Health permissions in iOS Settings. Zayvo keeps working; the features that need them do not.
• Skip the optional profile fields (date of birth, sex, weight) if you would rather not provide them.
• Request a copy of your data, or ask a question, by emailing us.

Zayvo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.

Zayvo is not a medical device. Calorie and macro figures are estimates, and the AI coach is not a doctor. Talk to a healthcare professional about symptoms, medication, injuries or any condition affecting how you should eat or train.
