Terms of Use

Last updated 9 August 2026

The short version

Zayvo is a fitness and nutrition app. You need an account to use it, you own what you log, and you can delete all of it from inside the app at any time. Some features are paid; the paid part renews monthly until you cancel, and you cancel through Apple, not through us.

Zayvo estimates. It is not medical advice.

Your account

You need to be at least 13 to use Zayvo. Keep your password to yourself — anything done with your account is treated as done by you. Give us an email address you actually control, because it is how you recover access.

You can delete your account from Profile → Delete account. That removes your data, including your logged food, workouts, runs and photos. It is immediate and it is not reversible.

Zayvo Pro

Zayvo Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period, at the price shown on the purchase screen for your country.

Manage or cancel it in your iPhone's Settings under your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, and cancelling part-way through a period does not refund the remainder — you keep Pro until the period ends.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, under Apple's standard terms. We can restore an entitlement you have already paid for; we cannot issue money back.

What Pro includes may change as the app develops. If we remove something you are paying for, we will say so before the change takes effect.

Estimates, and what they are worth

Calorie and macro figures in Zayvo are estimates. Food recognised from a photograph is identified by a model and priced from a nutrition database, and both the identification and the portion size can be wrong. Where a value has been checked against a published reference, the app says so; where it has not, it says that too. Read those labels.

Calorie targets, distances, paces and energy burned are calculated from standard formulas and from your phone's sensors. They are approximations, not measurements.

Zayvo is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet or training, particularly if you are pregnant, managing a health condition, or have any history of disordered eating.

Your content

What you log stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it so the app can work — showing you your history, computing your targets, and answering your questions.

Photographs you submit through the public food contribution page are a separate, explicit choice, and are used to improve food recognition. Photos you log privately in the app are not published.

Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, and do not use Zayvo to break the law or to attack the service.

Availability

We try to keep Zayvo running and accurate, but it is provided as is. Features can change or be withdrawn, and the service can be interrupted. Nothing here is a guarantee of a particular result from using the app.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Zayvo. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Privacy

How we handle your data — what is collected, why, and what is never done with it — is set out in the Privacy Policy. It is part of these terms.

Changes and contact

If these terms change materially we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use Zayvo after a change means you accept it.
